The Truth about Hendrix Engineering and CTS-V anti-wheelhop axles
catchy huh...
I posted a pic up a while ago of the nice dual non-hop black marks I made after the axle install. The Econo Axle did eliminate my wheel hop w/ no other suspension mods whatsoever. I will forego all the details, but lets just say that the shop that I used had some installer error and Thomas from Hendrix Engineering stayed with me the entire way until my situation was fixed and done. If it had not been for a death in family, he was on his way to help with the follow up install.
He's a stand up guy, has a great product that he obviously believes in as he answered my calls and never left me hanging.
Thanks Thomas. I hope to be buying some other stuff sooner than later!:cool2:

Install it relaxed loosely, put it on the ground (or on its own weight on ramps to have room, then pry/press the axle into the diff so that you audibly hear the snap ring engage. Its obvious when it snaps in like it should.
This now explains why the axle kept pulling itself out of the diff and leaking. Since installing on its own weight...no leaky for me!!

help
Hi guys, new to this part of the forum and i wanted to know if anybody can tell me how much it cost's to get a set of these axles. I am in need of some serious upgrades for my rear and this seems to be the cheapest right now short of having something fabricated or buying madman's set up. i wanted to know if these will help the rear survive with some bolt on's and possible a poweradder. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I thank you for your time.
