Well it finally happened....
So at the track last night in pursuit of 11s, the car shut down at 3/4 track and died at the last turn off. I had to be towed back to the pits. The block looked good, no leaking or anything so I tried to start it. It stumbled BAD and sounded like ****. I really thought something internal went bad. I lived a ways away and didn't want to tow it so I had to have a flat bed get it back to my house.
So today I figured it could be a fuel issue. Sure enough, the pump wasn't priming. Stripped the Magna-volt wiring and found the fuel pump lead toasted. It's bypassed now. I'm tossing this thing as soon as my Kenne Bell boost-a-pump gets here. So, the situation sucks but it could have been waaay worse. Anyone else with a Maggie, I'd run another option from the start.

Yeah when I had the maggie on my Z06 I had the MSD Boost a pump, and I agree I had heard of one of those boxes not working as well as others, hence I didnt want to take a chance.
Glad to hear it wasnt anything internal...

I've said it a million times before and I'll say it again.....boost-a-pumps are ****! I ditched mine when it **** on me for an inline walbro 255 which works WITH my stocker. Extra safety, more fuel and a backup if one or the other fails.
