Default Painted the rims

finally got around to painting my rims, i was debating on going with the powdercoat but decided not to because i couldnt be without my car for a week. so i went with the paint, i was very hesitant to do it because i hear it chips and is hard to maintain. overall im happy with it, as long as you sand them down really good and clean them up then shoot them with primer then 2-3 coats of paint then some clear. anyways heres the pics, oh i also tinted my turn signals/top half of the fogs.

Yeah I realized mine needed lowering too once the wheels were darker..... I've always thought the rear wheels look smaller on the V for some reason

I wanna take a ride in a lowered V.....Mine is quite a rough ride now, and I'm honestly scurrred to lower it because Lord knows I can't sacrifice any ride quality.....I assume the type of springs you're lowered with has a lot to do with the ride...The only car I've lowered was a Cobra and it had cut springs and rode like you were dragging a brick down the road. I've lowered a couple full size trucks with Eibach's and they road...O.K.

Do the 500 front/550 rear Eibachs. Just slightly stiffer than stock.

Mine are 600 front/650 rear ... definitely firm, but I love it.

I would love to get a second set of stockers to powdercoat but I can't seem to find a good deal on a set.

Unless you're running the ground control kit, good luck finding those. Pretty much the only semi-available option for aftermarket spring-only lowering kits is the H&R set. Eibach OEM replacement springs have been discontinued for almost a year now I think. I run the H&R set and I think they're great. Probably a touch low in the rear but they look killer. I posted a huge thread about them on the other popular V forum. Also nice to see another V in AZ. I'm in Tempe myself.
