When the first diff blew I purchased a "06-07" diff off eBay with a creative steel bushing, from an enthusiast. I got it, and looked up the part #, come to find out it was an 05.... A noisy one at that. He disappeared after that. I kept the diff as my car is my daily... I went to order axels and chris was 3 weeks out at that time. Since then I ordered axels, and Spectre bushings (which arrived this evening, lol) I'll be purchasing 98cobra's diff, I can't afford the KARS right now. Yes the typical case spliting, all the way around. Hopefully this doesnt happen again!

No reason to lie! Slammed it into 3rd let out the clutch and there was nothing there. I immediately knew what happened, looked in my rear view and there was a nice black trail following me. Sweet! I was in the process of buying heads yesterday too I guess it'll have to wait now....

I wonder if that BMR pinion brace has anything to do with you breaking differentials. Not the first time I've heard of it.

This diff I just broke has whined pretty good since I put it in, so I'm assuming it was on it's way out before I got it. People are blowing them without, who knows....

Hopefully this whole KARS kit works out. I'll be taking the brace out with the KARS....

-gen 4 (258 case #)
-cradle bushings
-Gforce axle
-KARS 3 kit

If it blows again the car is gone lol

9 inch? I know it costs a lot more, but might be worth it in the long run.

Got lucky at my local recycle yard. They got a 07 in and I snagged the diff out of it for $800. Finished it all up last night.
