Default Stock Serpentine Belt for the V

I need a stock serpentine belt for my V....anyone have one laying around that I can have or buy? Or anyone have a part number? the local parts store said that they don't carry one and all they have is the smaller one that goes between the AC compressor and crank. I pulled off my maggie and don't have my stock belt from before the maggie.

Any help is appreciated

Thanks!

I couldn't find one for mine either....After a couple of days of searching someone told me that a Mitsubishi one was an exact match....Not sure which one, since it's been a while but I've been rolling with it for about the last 40k....If you can get the size they can match it up

Where did you look for one? Like did you try a napa, as well? If you can wait, www.rockauto.com carries a lot of parts and good prices, too; look online for an additionl 5% off discount code, too!

The belt looks to be 13/16" x 82 1/8" long...check out the rockauto website and go under your 2005 cadillac...cts-v...belt, and it'll list several; the last three are the main belts (not AC) and run $21-$27 depending on brand. If you click on one of the part numbers, it'll indicate all the different models use the same one and the list is quite long (too long to list here, lol)

Here's some p/n's:
GOODYEAR Part # 4060822 $21.79
GATES Part # K060815 $23.89
ACDELCO Part # 6K815 $27.99

take away 5% with the code and their shipping is pretty reasonable and quick, fwiw.

PS - be sure to check your tensioner pulley, also. On my GTO I replaced my belt cause something rubbed on it and then I had to replace that new belt again right after, as my tensioner pulley was no good and allowed it to be eaten up from misalignment (not enough tension). These things get expensive when you have to replace them (3X in my case, total!)

JNR seems to have researched his *** off on this one...On a real note if you don't have any luck I can take a string and mirror the belt and give you a length...I'm sure someone on here can hook you up

Thanks again, looks like it's the 13/16 82 1/8. I'll take these numbers down to another parts store and have em check it out.

Just be sure the ribs match up, in quantity and spacing...Look at the rockauto site I linked and click on one of the part numbers and it lists all sorts of applications the part number serves (seems to be a common belt between many manufacturers)

My LS6 had a 103.75 and had slip with the 3.3" pulley.

I dropped pulley size to 3.1" and now am running a 102" belt. (smallest I'd go tensioner is tight)

Currently I am running the Gates Fleetrunner green back belt. Its expensive but the maggied GTO guys rave about it. No complaints from me in the few days its been on there and zero dust...
