Default Anyone notice their seat doesn't always reset?

I've noticed that sometimes when I leave the car, lock it, etc. and later come back to it to drive, the seat doesn't always return to the driving position from the exit position. It's not often which is why I haven't been able to attribute it to any behavior on my end (such as opening the door to quickly after unlocking).

Anyone else have this?

I've had this happen a couple of times.
I think it might be related to the parking brake travel.
Maybe not. ??

mine did this forever, dealer said it had to do with how your fob is programmed. they took it and it works flawlessly ever since

I could see that happening if it was all the time, but the off/on nature of it suggests to me that it's something else.

Oh well, even if its the FOB it's not a big enough deal for me to go to a dealer.

Stating the obvious here, but are you using the same FOB every time? I believe the seat position and exit position is different for each driver which is determined by the FOB or the switch on the driver's side door. You could also check the customization settings for both drivers in the menu to see if there are differences.

Yes, I am using the same FOB. The other FOB is at my Dad's house for when we swap cars, so there is no chance of me inadvertently swapping FOBs and not knowing .

Mine does it occasionally. I just hit the unlock one more time and memories restore.

mine hesitates sometimes. When I put the key in sometimes it will adjust immediately, other times the car is started before it will adjust.

Yes, I know the exact procedure is in the manual but it is through the customized settings on the main DIC screen.

Mine used to do that every so often. i just hit the fob again or hit the 1 button on the door. But my seat exit feature stopped working all together the other day for some reason. It just stays in the same position I drive in now. God I love this car. Best car with only 35K miles I have owned.
