Default Stock Grill vs Plastidip

Did the plastidip rooute on my buddies V yesterday. Overall it was pretty simple, and turned out good. I wish there was a way to hide the stuff in the back better. I think we will likely remove the grill and paint the silver piece in the back.

Looks good, I will see if I can find another pic. The only downside is that if the metal has any impurities, you will likely see it when you spray it. I think it's a great alternative to powdercoating, and much less expensive.

Lol! I just finished my first degree so I'll be working in operations down here at the refinery soon. Plan to continue though for a bachelor in process management or a chemical engineering degree but even working as an operator, I'll make more than enough to have a C6 Z06 especially if my V is paid off.

Mine is paid off. But house and wife take up a lot... That and we go out to eat WAY WAY too much. And so often for like 100+ dollars a meal.

But even so... I want Z06... if i fit in one. Is the C6 and wider in the shoulder than a C5?

Keeping it now bro if you're asking me. Figure itll be a sweet daily when i have the z06 as my toy car! As far as the grill, it's removed to do that. And I'm always down for a car meet...

We pulled the grills out to do the job. I wanted to ensure the appropriate paint coverage all the way around. I broke a few of the clips, but Kragen carries them and they are easy to replace.

Mine is paid off too.....I'm a Software Engineer by trade, and I am smart and refuse to be married =).

Personally I like the chrome grill more, but it looks pretty pimp with the tinted fogs
