Default grill: hot or not?

This isn't actual paint, it's that Duplicolor Shield stuff, so it washes off with water. It's also a greyish black with some metallic in it. The actual thing would be plasti-dip, so like a satin black more like the side window trim, and it would be less splotchy.

I also didn't do the lower because it would have been a pain, this was a quick mask and shoot to see if I liked it.

I'm on the fence. I don't dislike it, but I don't dislike stock either...

I'm the same......it's just ok. Doesn't scream badass or anything, but it's not ugly.

I think I've seen a picture of a plastidip'd grille on a red V and it looked pretty good. It may have been the V with the black chrome wheels. I think it's in the Wheel Picture Thread on the 'other' forum.

Dont like it...thats just my .02¢. It would look better color matched but I think the chrome really pops and looks classy against the infrared so Id leave it stock.

I think it would be sweet with top and bottom all black

I like the stock better. I agree with RRsV, the chrome looks nice on the infared.

Leave it factory... The chrome makes the paint stand out

Blacked out grille with "chrome" surround trim would look better, IMO.

I don't like the mesh being black. For one because you can see all the crap behind the grill.

I also thought I saw a picture of an Infra V with similar paint, which is what gave me the idea, but I couldn't find it.

I'm definitely not blacking out the wheels or anything else. I am not a fan of that look. But I thought reducing the chrome can't be bad. I'm still on the fence though...

Agreed on the black mesh....I can't stand how all of the support braces and crap shows up once the mesh is blacked out. To each their own but I'd leave it stock.

GhettoTy, that is a gorgeous car. I love the look of the plasti-dip on about any color, but silver & your color are best. Wanted to do it to my Raven but I just love the chrome look too much.
