Will CTS headlights work?
I know the regular CTS headlights don't have the HID's, or washers, But I am wondering if the washer is able to be used where the blank spot is on the regular CTS headlights. I plan on using a basic 9006 HID kit that I have laying around.
I pulled my stock headlights out and painted the insides, as well as painting the gray part black, and clearing the entire light....they never sealed back right, got a crack, runs....basically FUBAR'd the lights.

i know they'll fit but id think the only cts headlights you could use are the cts equipped with the sport package. those are the only base cts that have HID's, and i think the 04-05 cts w. sport package didnt come with HID's, only the 06/07. someone correct me if im wrong

I'm more worried about the headlight washer assembly. In the V's, it pops out of that little triangle looking piece, but I can't seem to find any pictures that show the regular CTS headlights well enough to see if they have a one piece lens that won't allow me to put the V washer assembly in there.
Basically, I want to build a Franken-V-Headlight using the parts from the V, and the easy to find, cheap regular CTS headlights.

I'm still on the fence of pulling and painting the inside housing of my lights. My passenger light already has a 3" crack on the face of it that goes all the way through the lens, but it never fogs up... I guess I don't have much to lose considering you can get an new set of CTS headlights for like $230 shipped and wire in your own HIDS.
