Default Picking up a V Tomorrow!!!!!!

If all goes according to plans I'll be the pround new owner of a black 05 CTS-V with 36,000 miles on it. Best part is all the apperance stuff like tinted lights and windows is already done. The only thing I might change is the wheels but in no big hurry to change that. I'm ready for this day to be over with so I can get it. Worst part is I'm going to have a 8 hr drive tonight but it will be worth it.

I wish I could've found a low miler. Bought mine with 73k, and 10 months later I'm already 91k. That includes the body shop having the car almost 5 months!

I will say though, across the board, there's very lil wear though for the mileage. All very inconsequential stuff.

If you don't mind me asking...what's an 05 with 36k go for? Anything else done besides the tint? I am back and forth on what to do with my 32k 04 with minor bolt ons.

When and if you decide to change the wheels. Use CCW, without a doubt the best wheel I've ever purchased.

Congrads on the V!! As far as wheels go... Your gonna have to do something custom fit for 6 bolt setup... CCW's are a good option also like WD2009CTSV stated...

Mine is getting shipped next week. Cheaper to ship nowadays. $450 from Miami to Raleigh.

Would cost me

$200 plane ticket
$75 hotel
$160 gas

So $435 and 12 hours of driving or $450 and sit on my *** watching sports

Thanks guys got back late last night so havent had alot of time to do anything but sleep since I was like a little kid the night before christmas and couldnt sleep Friday night

I got it for $25,000 alittle more then what I wanted to pay but with the low miles I decided that it was worth it.

As far as wheels I was already looking into CCW's

Only have one picture right now

Havent had the car a week and my back window will not roll up had to force it up and wedge some paper in it to keep it up
Looks like I'll be on the phone trying to get this thing fixed.
Other than that still loving the car hard to keep out of the gas petal though

If you have to do it yourself then hit up amazon. I got a regulator (aftermarket) for super cheap. My cable snapped on the factory one. Don't remember the name but it's every bit as good as original.

Buy the regulator on EBAY for like 40 bucks and put it in yourself. Takes less than an hour to fix.....

Nice! Congrats!! Glad to see the V1's are still pulling in a decent amount of $$$. Seems like the market is picking back up a bit.

BTW, my rear passenger window regulator is out as well. Got the track under the window clamped with vise grips. Motor is still good... i just need to stop being lazy and order the $40 regulator. lol

Thanks guys. It has a GM Protection Plan so I'm just going to let the local dealer fix it and look and see if I have a leak in my radiator cause the low fluids light came on Tuesday and I can catch a smell of anit-freeze everynow and then so I'm already getting to experience the joys in owning a V but it is worth it.

Bamacaddy I'm in Prattville.
