Procharger, TVS, Eforce, Maggie, H/C, Stroker??
Ok I am wanting more power. Who doesn't, I realize that. I'm just trying to get edumacated.....
I'm trying to figure out my best option. I'll have roughly $7k to play with. My question is....what's the best option? I want at least another 100+ HP. I have stock internals (see sig for mods) for now, but am not opposed to stroking my LS6 either. I've always been a N/A guy, so the S/C world is new to me. I'm sure I'd love a turbo, but don't want to F around with all that piping and custom fab work.
Eforce S/C: which kit would fit, if any? I heard something is in the works for our cars, but is it really? Has anyone done this yet?
Procharger: I could prob figure out how to adapt a Procharger if I did enough research on parts I'd need based on previous builds.
Maggie 112: Straight forward install. Kind of limited in future in terms of HP (I get that), but are they hard to get ahold of now?
Cam/Heads: Which ones? Would it net 100HP? Cost?
Stroker: What's the approx cost of this? How much HP would it net?
Other options/opinions? CHIME IN PLEASE!!

I say an MP112, or stroke ur current motor.
the 112 is an easy bolt on that makes easy power, and puts you at the limit of all your other stuff..... drivetrain, engine internals, etc. without going over the top
turbo's, bigger blowers= forged internals (so your gonna have to pay for both a bottom end and a blower or turbo), and better drivetrain parts etc. etc.
Cam/Heads...... Not worth it, solely because of the shitload of labor you pay to do that work.

if you have the money go STROKER!! nothing like making more power than Blown V's with an NA motor.
im bias tho haha
you can do a nice heads, cam, headers, pulley, intake setup, tune and probably get at least another 100hp

I may be biased, but I have a good reason for suggesting the Maggie (MP-112): You can reverse it very easily and recoup a fair amount of your expense on both the maggie AND your car when you decide to move up to a V2 or whatever.
With an overdrive crank pulley and possibly a 2.6" drive pulley plus 8-rib setup, you'll be right at the maximum power that those stock internals can handle, as was mentioned already.
Once you go FI, you're spoiled.

FYI for those considering doing the tvs2300 swap from the gto tvs2300 box1 and maggie 112 box 2 kit as suggested by Ichpen. I called maggie for a box one for the GTO tvs2300 and its 5 bucks shy of 6 gs. The maggie box 2 is 1800. Thats almost 8 gs plus its not a direct bolt on still some **** needs modified. Maybe minor but for 8gs they need to gold plate it. So if the eforce is going to be around 6 like hendrix quoted me its a much better deal. And as for your statement above go maggie as it reaches the limits of your other poo poo parts on the cadillac unless you plan to modify them all accordingly. And as for their availability ((( Been looking for one for over a month now wcryan will tell you. New they are plentiful but are priced almost the same as the tvs units...straight rape.

I like the fact that you can reverse the Maggie.....good point Randy.
How much HP are 383's making? I don't want to go that way on a probably. How much $$? Which heads/cam?
So the E-Force is going to be available when? That thing is uglier than a bulldog eating mayonaise, but I guess if it works.....
I agree. $8k and it better be gold and install directly with no modification.

is it still going to be a daily driver?
Don't lie to yourself.haha If you bolted a maggie on to your current setup in a year or so, if you still had a V1. You would be looking into upgrading the internals so you could squeeze more out of it. might as well not limit yourself off the bat with a less efficient/ small displacement blower
Interested in hearing more in the E-force kit for the V1. Thought that idea was dead. other then dropping in a LS3 and slapping on the C6 eforce kit hahah

Stroking a LS6 to a 383 is going to yield you rouhly 440-460rwhp (At ABSOLUTE BEST - 500 with a extra large cam )depending on Cam IT will be the lowest power output out of all the choices mentioned.

383 is pretty much all you can do for the LS6... Unless you have gobs of money to re-sleeve and bore it out as well.
Just like anyone throwing on 10psi (NO METH) on a stock LS2 will be putting out more than the 550 NA you have. 408 / 402. NA. People hit that with 10psi on a LS6 346, stock heads, stock cam, no meth.
Beauty about FI, you want more, you pulley down! Add meth if you want that extra 100rwhp too 600 is quite obtainable on stock displacement, if the blower can dish it out.
Ideally, you do Both! STROKE and BOOST.

N/A in these cars is a complete waste of money. To make big big power n/a your gonna have to sacrifice driveability or spend a **** ton of money. Maggie would be the easiest but once you want over 500rwhp your gonna have to pull the 112 off, sell it, and then go through the whole deal again, and trust me 500rwhp in a 3900lb cat gets boring quick.
My vote is some type of TVS1900 or 2300 so you have room to grow. Your rear is already built so all that tq wont be a problem like it would for someone with a stock diff.

I would vote for the mp112. It will definitely satisfy your immediate want for more power and down the road if you want to upgrade to the TVS it would not be hard to pull off the 112, sell it and buy a TVS2300 box one kit + minor mods. At this point you will already have all the box 2 stuff installed and run for awhile and when you do goto the TVS you will be looking at more than just the box one, ie fueling issues as well as forging and such to support the power.

Depends on what your time frame is and how long you can go without your car. Maggie 112 is the only thing you can do in a day (or two) for 100+ hp and maintain stock drivability. Cam + heads are going to have drivability and economy consequences.
If your budget is $7k, I think you are honestly already out of your price range for a Procharger or E-Force (or any other TVS). FWIW...I make pretty good power with my Maggie and still get just under 20 MPG's commuting around the Washington Metro area. Thinking about selling it though and going twin turbo's

had a maggie with 2.6 pulley cam and longtubes made 530/510 recently sold the maggie to go stroker with a little bit of squeeze on it. maggie is a fun ride for sure. and honestly you cant beat the whine of the maggie
