Default New Headunit

I picked myself up a JVC KW NT-800HDT headunit. This unit has it all:

7" Screen
3D Navi
Bluetooth with an excellent mic
Bluetooth Audio
IPod Integration
Pandora and iHeart Radio Apps
USB
Free Real Time Traffic
Hooked up to my rear view cam
ETC...
I keep my iPod Touch and Verizon WIFI hotspot in the car and it gives me every source of music I could want. I will post pics once I figure out the permanent place for the Pod and hotspot.

I should have done this sooner. The sound is much better than the stock headunit. Now I need some speakers to round out the system. I will keep you guys posted on my choices.

This makes me want to run out and get a new headunit.

Do new radio have internet connect yet?

Does it integrate with the computer to post warning like low coolant, traction control on, get info like engine oil life, etc?

damn that is a nice interface.. It sure beats having to clean the LCD every other day because your friends assume the OEM nav is a touch screen

Not that I know of; that is why I am using the Verizon HotSpot

It does not integrate into the computer. I will not get the low coolant or oil life messages. Oil life I keep track of myself and the traction control light on the dash works for that. I will be getting an Aeroforce gauge soon to keep me informed on the rest of what's going on with the ride.

BTW...memory seats/mirrors still function.

You get what you pay for, and I love JVC decks. I used to do local SQ competitions in my Aurora, and I have a JVC KD-AVX1 deck, and I fell in love. I will not own another brand head unit in my life. (aftermarket of course)
