Great weekend: autocross and rolled over 100K *pics and video*
My wife took this car from 35K to 100K in 4 yrs. The only problem has been a motor mount. Thanks GM for building this car
She told me she wanted to go autocross it and with my car being down, I jumped!
I did some basic prep and maintenance to ready the car for an event coming up next weekend. Lighweight wheels with sticky tires, put stock rear bar back on, clean power steering fluid, new rotors, pads and bled brakes.
Stock with 245 Nexen-
Rota Torque and 275 Hoosier A6-
I took it Sunday to make sure the 275s would work up front without spacers and they did. The car is on the stock FE4 shocks and no rubbing anywhere.

Jealous about the weight.
My 285/35-19" Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110s weigh 29 lbs, and the Forgestar F14s weigh 24.7 lbs (which is pretty light for their size), but total = 53.7 lbs.

"Basic prep" = new wheels and HooHoo A6s??? Man, you must've just been waiting for your wife to give the go-ahead!
"Oh, hey, look what I found in the garage, honey! A set of wheels with Hoosiers. And the wheels just happen to have the strange 6-lug pattern that your car has. How fortuitous!"
So how did the car do? I've only taken mine to a couple of auto-x events, and only on street tires. (One event was even on performance snow tires!) The majority of my auto-x experience is in my Subaru, and I'm honestly not very good when it comes to auto-xing a RWD vehicle.

The car did good. 11th Raw with 3 out of 6 runs being 40.5s. FTD (39.0) was
set by a Cobalt SSTC on Kumho C91s. The event this Sunday is on concrete. You
can hear how slippery that asphalt was. The A6s sounded like street tires.

Niiice. I'm at the 130,400+ mile marker... Compression test about 2 weeks back put every cyl above 180+, all nicely even... and I dyno'd about 5 days ago and put down 372 on a mustang with basically just exhaust work.
Very very nice wheel setup, chief. Thats some big weight saving.
