Default Which wheels work with 5 lug conversion?

I searched but maybe my phone is lacking in that area. If i were to swap to 5 lug hubs what wheels would work? I am guessing that V2 wheels would work but what about Corvette wheels?

I believe the offset on stock Vette wheels are crazy high, upwards of +50 for the front and +70 in the rear. That alone would make them useless on a V due to our trailing arm setup. You'd want to be somewhere the range of +40 to +50 for the offset on the V wheels.

But at that point, you could pretty much run any 5 x 114.3 wheels, which would leave you with thousands of options.

I would say more like +35 to +45mm. The Team Dynamics 18x9s are +38mm. Stock 8.5" wheels are +42mm. The Linea Corsa 10" rears are +47mm (which is generally considered a bit too much due to the trailing arm issues).

Except that Vettes are 5x4.75", which is 5 x 120.65mm. Lots of Bimmer options in 5x120, which could be made to work.

I agree with you on offset, my mistake. Look for something in the +35 to +45 range like AAIIIC stated. Also, for some reason had my lug patterns confused as well. Minus my statement of the extremely high offset for Vette wheels, AAIIIC is correct.

v2 wheels = no go, different bolt pattern. (although I wish they would fit, I think they would look awesome on the v1)

There are several pics of guys with corvette z06 front wheels on all 4 corners. I don't recall if they still required spacers or not though.

Wow GM went with a different bolt pattern on the V2? That stinks. There is a Firebird here locally that has V2 wheels he must be using adapters. I have C5 Z06 wheels on my 70 Chevelle.

I think the old F-bodies were all 5x4.75" (since I know it's pretty common to put Vette wheels on them), and the V2 is 5x120mm. Some consider that "close enough", or you can use wobble lug nuts to account for the slight difference.
