Default Aftermarket Parts: What's Missing?

Are there any aftermarket V parts that are missing from the market? Anyone have ideas for parts or products that are out there for other cars but not the 1st and/or 2nd gen V? I'm thinking metal stuff, not bushings. Revshift has the jump on that stuff and is coming along fine.

Shorty headers maybe? Catted long tubes that bolt to the factory catback? Axleback mufflers for the V1?

Kinked trailing arms to fit wider wheels. The guy who used to make them doesn't seem to be active here any longer.

He said he will make them again. Not sure when.....but eventually Said he was in the process of opening a shop and once he does he will begin to make them again. People like Fuzzy knew to get a set back when he made them. But he still kicks around here, and cadillac owners from time to time.

^This! 1st Gen V's are the worst shifting t-56 I have ever had the pleasure of jamming it into first.

Any specific improvements you'd expect? Just replace all the parts that people weld/replace/shim?

Plus the center linkage bar. The goal would be to closely emulate the direct connection to the transmission that every other T56 has.

For funsies, here's some of the Tremec direct link options. They won't ever work on our T56ses, sadly.

Yes, a friend of mine was fabricating some for me, but we put it on hold until I decided which diff I was going to go with. Basically designed like the Kars III with no pinion brace, but with additional braces to the front subframe.
I'll pull up some pics I have if I can find them.

Not quite as eloborate as the first one. We were planing on using the transmission mout as one anchoring spot, then the frame rails of the unibody to bolt down the othe points.

MGW in an email response to my inquiry:

mgwltd@mgwltd.com
9/18/12

i have had a few requests but i just have not been able to get into the
ctsv yet. i have alot of current commitments on projects already started
or in the middle so i do not want to make promises i cannot keep but i can
tell you that we will be looking at it at sometime in the future possibly
end of the year.
...

we should all email them, the 2010+ camaro shifter linkage is very similar to ours, it might be a small redesign

Be nice if we could retrofit something like the corvette shifter box along with a simplified, minimal linkage system. The OEM shifter input system is like a Rube Goldberg, erector set apparatus with a bunch of loose fasteners.

Standalone Lan/Can bus display, move all the infomation(ie. outside temp) to a little DIC in the same manner that the new GM's and V's do. I want to know if my face will melt off, or become frostbitten before I roll my windows down; im not giving up my new alpine deck either.

The only guy I know who does CF won't do decorative stuff. Maybe custom airboxes, splitters or wings. No fenders and hoods though.

By solid subframe mounts do you mean metal or Delrin bushings?

Where would you stick a gauge pod? Single, dual, triple? I'm not boosted so I can't imagine a gauge I'd want that isn't already in the DIC.

Gauge pods for a pillar, shift linkage. The 11 gt500 is somewhat similar to ours and they have insane solid billet setup a after market that are insane, hoods, subframe connectors, more adjustable shocks

Easier five lug conversion like a kit I guess Instead of having to find corvette parts

TUBULAR CRADDLES AND CONTROL ARMS!!!

Just a few ideas
