my v died while driving
So here my problem. I have a 05 v. was driving about 40 mph and it just died. tried restarting and all it would do is crank and every once in a while sputter like it wanted to try. My fuel pump is upgraded already and I can here it when I turn the key on. if I shoot it with starting fluid it will start for just a second, so it has fire. any ideas on where to look when I tear into this thing. or has anyone had the same thing happen.

Battery was in hooked the whole time I changed the sensor. I haven't checked it at the rail yet. That was my next move tomorrow and rent a scan tool from the auto parts store. I can't see it being the fuel filter as there was no warning signs leading up to it just dieing

Then one day luckily at the end of the driveway, it just died.
Fuel pump took a crap.
Not saying that's what it is, but it can be a possibility. Who knows?
Any CEL? Check your fuses for a random blow-out?

So after pulling the fuel line up front and nothing coming out I then pulled the line at the pump.(I have the hole cut above the pump under the back seat for easy access) and nothing but the pump runs. So I pulled the pump out and there lied then problem. Some how the line running from the pick up and pump came off. Re attracted it. Put a couple new squeeze clamps on,re installed and were back to tearing up the road.
