This is what I did too. Ran it under the rear seat and carpet, into the console cubby.

Still don't like the hissing over the PA-15 channel, but there's no fix and no real alternative, apparently.

The PAC AAI-GM12 is also another option that has been reported to work well. I have one that I'm planning to install, along with an AUX port that will go in the console cubby.

I only get hissing on the other XM band... which I don't use... is this what you're talking about?

With the PS15-VETTE, can you have BOTH the ipod cable and an AUX input available at the same time without having to switch the DIP switches? I'd like to keep my ipod in my car at all times, but sill have access to my (or a freind's phone) for more music.

stauren0724,

Yes. You can use either the iPod/iPhone hookup, or the aux input without switching the DIP switches

I highly recommend the PA15-VETTE, works great...sounds great...I have had zero issues with mine.

Thanks for the info. Does everyone experience the hissing sound on xm2? I do use my xm as well.
