That's bizarre. More torque than horsepower?

Here ya go... We're guessing we can pick up another 10 or so hp once we get the tune finished.. Heat being my biggest factor

...... not really.

1988-1992 Mazda MX-6, 626, and Ford Probes with the 2.2L Turbo I4 12-Valves, from the factory, would put down 145hp and 190ft/lbs torque.

It's more common than you think.

Makes a whole lot of sense once you think in terms of airflow.

Down low, where torque peaks, the blower is not maxed out on airflow, however up high in the RPM range, the engine requires a lot more flow and at that point, it's beyond the Maggies ability to flow.

Exactly.. I need a bigger blower to get any more power.

Great numbers on any dyno... look at all that torque sitting flat as Kansas. Look forward to some more of those race vids that things going to have some pretty good jump to it.

How much did you gain from the work you did on your blower?

Pretty impressive its a shame its lower compression itd have made over 500. This is when the bottle really helps though youll have 600ft lbs of torque on a 50 shot.

try porting it? why spend all that money on another blower when your spraying it anyway?

Makes sense that some FI setups make more TQ then HP.

Either way, looks good. Going to have to figure out how to keep that running cooler so you aren't losing all that power to heat soak.

im gonna try the cobra type dual pass..after that my hands are pretty much tied.. ive looked at the killer chiller but thats too much hacking of the ac for me..meth is out of the question...so a dual pass and maybe a couple small fans is what im left with..and of course nitrous.

98 cobra, as far as porting; no one wants to touch it due to it being a maggie case...they say its already hogged out pretty good.
