For continuous duty? Probably 850 RWHP. For short time duration efforts, 1200 RWHP.

Driveability and reliability are very high on my list. If I have to sacrifice a lot of power to get them, I will.

Got that from your post, that’s why I asked. Good luck. Interesting to see.

Yeah, sorry I haven't been writing a lot lately. It's either make progress on the car or make progress on the forum and documentation. Fortunately I take good notes so when things slow down, I'll start unloading them.

Couple of places to look if you haven't already:

https://weaponxmotorsports.com/colle...v2-lsa-cooling

https://www.fluidyne.com/product-pag...heat-exchanger

http://www.griffinrad.com/griffin_specialties.php?tid=6

What are your current plans for heat removal?

I have three different hoods and they all suck. None of them come close to matching the look of the V1 and none provide the necessary clearance. The carbon fiber vented hood was obviously never tested on an actual car because it lacks the clearance around the latch to close. Therefore I’ll probably do a group buy next year with a reputable carbon fiber vendor—might try a proper NASCAR inspired spoiler at the same time.

Spent way too much money in the last weeks getting ready for a fresh set of P&P heads, cam, headers, and a ton of other goodies. Oh and tracked an electrical gremlin back to a bad battery cell...

Pulled the HVAC unit controls out to attempt to fix the stupid plastic "spring" that holds the felt ashtray in and went by Home Depot to grab some washers to fix the rear pillar covers.

Try L brackets.

Did you have to use longer screws going into the speed nut?

No, the stock screw had enough length to account for the extra thickness of the bracket. My rear pillars are pretty solid now. Haven't had any concern with them breaking again either.

My rear bumper was loose. A friend told me of this and I replaced three speed nuts on the bottom of the bumper. Hooray no more floppy ***!

EDIT: First time I was approached in regards to selling my V. I said no thank you, he asked how much, I said no thank you. He left me his name and number. I will not be calling him. I said please do not take offense. He really wanted me to have the piece of paper. I will not be calling him, though.

Stereo work.

I added a delay on relay to allow the PAC convertor to come on first and got rid of a thump that was happening on power on.

So, I just delayed the amps from coming on first.

Also ordered two tires.

Figured out my car hates me apparently.
The dealer did this to me when it went into the shop for the recalls. I had them change the oil, and they cross threaded the original bolt in. Apparently when they did the helicoil and replacement bolt they didn't mention to me what they had done, and I never noticed until this after noon, 2 years later while changing the oil that it was a helicoil job.

Thanks Cadillac UAE......for a headache.

Plan now is to cobble it together until heads and cam install in 2 months. then I will drill and tap it off the car and install a drain valve. Then no more issues, ever at oil change time. I will safety wire it closed as an added precaution.

And that is why we turn our own bolts.

Was able to get a specialist machine shop to drop by and upsize it to 14mm drain plug insitu.

They used a drill rig with a shop vac to keep debris out of the pan, and the same setup for the tapping. Was neat to watch and it's as good as new.

I'll be adding a ball type drain valve and safety wiring it closed at a later date.
