I think you need some sort of color contrast but thats my opinion. that thing is definitely
black. I think the headlights and the license plate I dont like but the rest is good

Motor came out today. Getting sent to a fellow V owner whose car is down currently. The stroker block is going to the machinist this week. Going to get LS3 valves, cam specs'd and a valve job on the heads.
Going with a lunati crank and rods, and forged pistons. Haven't decided on the pistons yet

From a 2.8? That's quite a step down, depending on your setup determines.if you need a re tune. It's always safer to have it checked out. Make sure your supplying enough fuel. Iat are staying in a safe range. Lots of variables.....

I installed most of my new badges. And threw on a set of high flow cat pipes, rotated back to a magnaflow muffler and corsa tips instead of bullets.. liking the back pressure

- Rolled 100k a few days ago.
- Replaced a bad gasket between the passenger side header and cat today. No more nasty exhaust leak making the car sound like a beater! In the process discovered that the passenger side cat converter seal (the replaceable gasket thing on the downstream side of the cat) should also have been replaced, but I didn't think to buy that ahead of time. Slathered some Ultra Copper on there for now, and put actually replacing it on the "to do" list. (Part # 12555555, for future reference. )
- Rotated the winter wheels/tires.
Edit: Fixed the part number for the cat seal. I had looked at the wrong drawing, and the number I had up there before was actually the (smaller, incorrect) V6 seal. Doh!
