Called AAA. The ol girl is stuck in ice in my driveway and busted off the TPMS valvestem. Ordered a flatbed to take it to my local tire shop. Figure they can unstuck the car and take her over there all in one shot rather than dick around with a non-snow tire spare. Oh well at least I get a non planned day off work out of it.

Swapped out the winter wheels, on both cars, and scrubbed all of the salt and nastiness off before storing them in the garage. Guess which set took less time! I also installed my new set of black anodized trunk tie down *****. No pictures, because from 2' back, they look like stock. Won't have to ever worry about those things again. Very happy with that purchase.

- Replaced a bad gasket between the passenger side header and cat today. No more nasty exhaust leak making the car sound like a beater! In the process discovered that the passenger side cat converter seal (the replaceable gasket thing on the downstream side of the cat) should also have been replaced, but I didn't think to buy that ahead of time. Slathered some Ultra Copper on there for now, and put actually replacing it on the "to do" list. (Part # 12555555, for future reference. )
And here are the OEM ones that came out. There's some orange Ultra Copper residue on the one due to the "fix" the previous week. Obviously these things were toast!
While I was in there I also replaced the passenger side header-to-cat pipe gasket again. I had noticed last weekend when I did it the first time that there were no lock washers on the nuts on that flange, and the nuts weren't swaged/self-locking, so I was afraid they would loosen up and burn up the gasket again. Sure enough, one of the two fasteners was already loose and the gasket was started to get burned up. So, new gasket, lock washers in place, and hopefully I won't have to worry about it again for a while.
Since I had the car up I also swapped out the front rotors. I had a pair that were used for a track event (may have even been just a single day) and developed some uneven pad deposits and felt horrible on track. Figure I'll run them on the street for a while to "scrub" them clean and hopefully be able to use them on track again. They seem fine so far - no pulsating brakes during normal driving.

I usually go off of around 40% but I also look at the integrity of the oil. Sometimes it lasts longer depending on how hard the mileage. Temps and start and stops have been. That's usually what leads me to know when to change. Never off mileage. Lol I don't even write them down anymore I just vaguely remember when it was done and go from there, also the DIC

It only takes a second. I don't include mods, just maintenance stuff. Batteries, fluids, etc.
