Got the engine out finally, just need to make a few repairs on the AC Electrical connection and a nipple on the radiator. Then swap some stuff from the old engine to the new engine over, hopefully I will get it in tomorrow. Got the transmission pulled apart by Jason at TDP, everything look good except for my 6th, engagement teeth were wore out bad, hopefully that will fix my issue of popping out of 6th and vibes near 80 mph.

So for now, the fastest thing in my garage is my wife's Schwinn

Fighting the hood gaps on my headlights. Passenger side is good, drivers side is still irritating.

Don't feel bad, looks like mine, and I've spent $50 on new fasteners and dozens of hours adjusting.

Yes, don't waste your time, it's just these yellow aftermarket crap, there would be no perfect gap on every side...

Was a little depressed with the build quality but on the up shot it has surprisingly nice cut off lines with hids in them!

Got my butyl mat on the drivers door, use a little around my control switch and map pocket and wouldn't you know. Dead quiet. Need to pull the package tray and hit that up but I keep getting tied up with the bird

Started modeling an upper control arm for the V1 in Solidworks. This will adapt to the C6 Corvette spindle, which weighs 5.8 lbs. The cast iron V1 spindle weighs 13.1 lbs and the aluminum STS-V spindle weighs 8.7 lbs, for comparison.

I now pronounce this car rattle/panel squeak free! The trim on the climate control was my last squeak! Looks like the rest of the mat will go down in the trunk.

Anyone lose a v in Vegas today? Old man said he saw one try to make it across 4 lanes on the 15, clipped a car and smacked a semi.

Replaced the Clutch master cyl with the Wilwood Kit and replaced the driveshaft center support bearing with the VooDoo DIY Kit. No more vibrating driveshaft or sticking clutch pedal drives like a different car.

Install kinda sucks...well for me it did, mostly because I'm a fat guy and I don't fit well under the dash.

The Wilwood PMC is now available. You receive a comprehensive master cylinder kit along with all the hardware and fittings to adapt to the 1st generation CTS-V. This clutch master cylinder kit replaces the factory unit to provide full disengagement and faster engagement of aftermarket and OEM clutch systems. Paypal $300: jaysenbaker@gmail.com.

Make space on tranny for Tick LS7 slave line:

And a new diff case vent to connect with a rubber hose like recall or TSB says to get rid of spraying oil outside the case:
