Default KW V3 Coilover rear mounts?

I picked up some KW V3 coilovers for my 06 V recently. What mounts are being used on the rear? Are these bolt in and go to alignment shop? I have not been home to see them yet, but want to be sure to have the parts ready of the install when I get home.
I ask because I recall seeing some threads mentioning rear mounts, and now am either not finding them or am completely mistaken.

The stock rear top mounts transfer right over.

So basically the KW V3s will bolt right in with no other parts needed?

for the price, they better. I had K sports. I had to find a new nut for the rear botton mount on the strut. the OEM nut was one of the welded in place type

Post some pix when you're done. Not too many KW drop pix out here. G/L

the KW do not come with upper mounts both front or rear. you need to reuse stock units.

all other coilovers only come with upper rears and the stock front must be reused.

hint: get banski spherical mounts for the rear instead of reusing the junk stock equipment.

Is there a part number or something for the Banskis? I am getting new front mounts so I dont have any problems and can have themn sitting and waiting to go in.

i don't think they have a part number or have it listed on the website, but they do sell them.

I have the Banski rear mounts, but I don't think there's really any need for them. Other than adding quite a bit of NVH I don't perceive any difference in how the suspension behaves.

What "front mounts" are you looking for? If you're trying to assemble everything off the car and then just swap out the whole assembly, then you would need the entire aluminum upper mount/control arm mount:

I think it comes with the upper control arm, and the whole thing is ~$235 per side. The rubber isolator appears to be available separately for ~$45 each, and then another $55 per side for the big dished washer and upper nut. If you want all that stuff, your best bet would be to peruse Ebay - I know I've seen complete strut assemblies for sale. You could also try car-part.com.

Thanks for the heads up. I may just wait since $200 is step for some rubber and washers.

The Banski ones are machined Delrin and stainless steel.

do you mean the rears? I ordered them just to have them in case I want to use them. Depends on what my stock stuff looks like upon removal.

so the fronts dont have any bearings? I guess I just need to get home and take it apart to figure out what I need.

Sorry, I misunderstood your comment about the rubber and washers. The Banski mounts are the rears, and those are the steel and Delrin ones.

I agree that hundreds of dollars for new front parts (which are just rubber and washers) is awfully steep. There's no bearing in the top mount itself - everything's in the picture I posted above.
