Default Anybody rebuild our CV's

I thought the diff bushing was shot, but it seems to be the right CV. The outer joint has a fair amount of slop relative to the shaft. Is there anyone who rebuilds V CV joints/axles? The car is a stock '05 with 114,000 miles. I don't really want or need race axle$.

For the the time being you can run an entire base axle as a spare....But the base bars have different spline count than V1, so the components are not swapable.
there probably is another CV axle that could donate its ends to a V1. Corvette has a good chance....But a mass market FWD vehicle would be the ideal donor.

Good to know. Are they direct fit onto our halfshafts?

I have no idea. Aside from taking some apart, seems impossible to find out.

I'm going to pull a SRX axle at a local P&P. I have the broken end of a DTS CTSV axle to compare the spline and retaining rings.

I ran base axles for quite a while, works ok just doesn't seat fully.

I ended up with a CS 8.8.

Not from me. Went to P&P last weekend but no SRX at the one I went to.
