Default Custom Hidden Hitch (less than $50)

I finally got time to install a hidden hitch on the V. Got the idea from here: https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...hitch-mod.html

I'm not going to be hauling anything huge. I made it primarily for my bike rack. Next upgrade will be to use the lower two bolt mounts to make reinforcements directly to the body so I can if wanted to carry a heavier load than just bikes.

I’m not great at making how-to’s but here are the pics:

Looks Sweet!

this might be my last ditch effort to prevent my wife from forcing me to swap one of our cars for an SUV.

Excellent timing, I was gonna hunt for a receiver hitch and I’d only use it for a bike carrier.

I get a lot of looks pulling motorcycles with mine but you’d never know it’s back there...I used a standard CTS hitch and sectioned it kinda like this so you don’t see it until you install the receiver.

the trailer light adapter is pricey...I haven’t tried but has anyone worked around it?
