Default New Hp Numbers For My V

OVER THE LAST YEAR DYNOTECH ENG. IN FT. WAYNE IND. USED MY CAR AS THERE TEST MULE TO DEVELOPE PACKAGES FOR THE CTSV. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THEM (FOR A LITTLE WINTER TUNE UP) TO HAVE THEM INSTALL A LITTLE DIFFERENT CAM AND ALSO 1.8 ROCKERS. SO NOW I AM RUNNING THERE STAGE V PACKAGE PLUS 1.8 ROCKERS. PHIL CALLED ME AND SAID, THIS CAR IS A REAL THRILL TO DRIVE AND QUITE IMPRESSIVE FOR THIS HEAVY OF A CAR. HE SAID IT NOW MAKES 437 RWHP/395 RWTQ ALL DAY LONG, HOT OR COLD. THIS IS WITH SW HEADERS, RT CATS, X=PIPE, AND CORSA, ALSO I HAVE THE VOLANT CAI INSTALLED AND ALL THE OTHER GOODIES THAT COMES WITH THERE STAGE V PACKAGE.
GREAT JOB PHIL, CAN'T WAIT UNTILL NEXT WEEK TO DRIVE IT.

So you lost 5 rwt and gained 17 rwhp..... for a cam and 1.8 r.r.?? Did you ever find out what cam you had or what your new cam is. I hope you at least picked up some power under the curve. Are you paying for this R&D and labor?

R&D and Labor were free for use of car. I will get a copy of dyno sheet and post it. I will also get the numbers on the cam. I do know that with the 1.8 rockers we are over .600 on the lift.

numbers are not too shabby....I would expect some more horsepower though with a cam over .600 lift and rockers.

To help you guys better understand what all is in Stage V, I have copied a post from another site. I hope this is ok.
The cam with the 1.8 rockers figured in, is over .600 lift. I will talk to Phil on Monday an get the specs on the cam and a dyno graph. http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...ad.php?t=34699

That post from Phil is from March 2005. This is Jan. 2006, and it appears to be the same dyno graph................ what gives????? His "kit" does not mention 1.8 rockers, but you use the same dyno graph....... hmmmmm. Also, you seem to not know to much about what parts they put in your car. Kind of strange if you ask me.

2c5s, you are right. I posted that info to give you guys the info. on stage V, and the dyno graph was from that same time frame. The reason I posted the graph seperate was I didn't know if it would be seen in the post. They just installed the new cam and 1.8 rockers this past week. I know what parts are in my car, all you have to do is read what is included with stage V. Sorry if my post was confusing.

When I receive the new graph I will post it, which will be, Stage V plus the new cam and 1.8 rockers and new tune.

Phil delivered the car on Sunday and gave me the new dyno sheet. The only problem is I don't now how to post it on here. The car sounds awsome and pulls really hard.
