Default wrecked my procharged CTS-V need help

I went around a corner hit a patch of sand on the road lost control and hit the curb.

With that said where do you guys suggest the cheapest and best place to get parts in order to get this car up and running again. I want to eliminate the common knocking noise as well that I had from the rear end when changing gears.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry to see your damage.

I have done the exact same thing to one of my supercharged rides before.
It happens.

On a positive note,
why don't you make the best of this situation and turn it into an opportunity to upgrade to the Madman/Thunder Racing 9" inch rear?

Good Luck.

I definately agree...if you hafta put money into the rear end, why not upgrade it? Especially with the additional power from the S/C...it's just a matter of time before you have to upgrade it anyhow.

Put the Madman rear in or sell your car now,
as is.
That is the best advice you are going to get.

You might want to put a SERIOUS clutch in as well when they are doing the work.

Good Luck

Not sure what the rules are here so kick me if I'm out of line mods.

I just started posting on this site because I picked up an 06 CTS-V that has a bit of an issue with the roof. The rear is fine though. PM me if you'd like to make a deal on the rear. I'm in NY

Sorry to see that happened to you at least it is fixable.

See my post below

Ouch!

none
This car was not beat on. The car was bone stock except for a 1-4 shift eliminator. Why would you think a six month old car would have suspension work?

A guy I worked with bought the car and it was his pride and joy. One day he came in and said a tree fell on the roof. I thought he was kidding until I saw pictures. I then asked him to find out the buyout if they totaled the car. He found it out after they deemed it totaled and I bought it plus gave him some cash for the trouble. I have been looking to see why they totaled it and can't figure it out. The car runs, drives straight and the rockers/frame I can't see any issue with. I think I am set now on putting the engine in my camaro and parting the rest out.
