Default thinking about buying a used cts-v

Hey, i've been reading this forum and this one "http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadillac-cts-v-series-forum/" but the other one needs you to have a real e-mail account and not a yahoo one. sadly i only have the yahoo one. i'm wondering though if this v is worth 26-27000 dollars. it's used of couse with 50,000 miles on it. one owner dealer said it was owned by an old guy whos a regular who trades cars alot.
Here's the link to the ad also wondering how much upkeep you have. ie, how much do the oilfilters cost, brake pads and what not.

i would only buy a V with 50k miles for 26-27 IF the 100k 6 year warranty was given to me - for free - no additional cost. Otherwise search for a lower mileage V. Mine has 38k miles and has the 6yr 100k warranty (3000.00) value. I also have some minor mods done to mine (very tasteful). Im thinking about possibly selling mine, but with the warranty (which is way more important than it first may seem) which is valued at 3000+ dollars.....I wouldnt sell mine for under 30.

Agree on what 04ctsvfl says. Dont buy one unless you get a warrenty. That one just went under some rear end sergery but they didnt replace the whole rear end. Just the axles. So it is probably a ticking time bomb as far as holding together. And the warrenty is gone on that vehicle unless they change it to the 100k. LOL the guy who owned it also ran out of gas at 20k miles Hmm if warrenty pays for that. All i need to do is run out of gas 6000 times and i get a free car!
