Default Help me find a friend some wheels

I am trying to steer a friend away from getting some random 20" wheels and towards something tasteful and classy. He just bought an '06 CTS. He wants to spend under $2,000 for both wheels and tires. What looks good on these cars? I really like the CCW 505s, but what do those cost? Any other suggestions? Links will help too.

CCW's will cost at least 2600 just for rims....and that is for 18's.....however they will be worth it

The big problem with rims is it will cost at least 2500 for anything worth while that is nicer than the stockers because it is a 6x115 bolt pattern and 42mm offset (down to around 38 without rubbing issues) and the calipers are huge so most rims will also require spacers which also subtract 3-5mm from your offset making rim choices almost ZERO! so here is what you can do....... either powdercoat the stock rims and lower the car (which is what i am doing)

or if you must have 20's (which i agree look the best) the vouge cv7's are about 399 a piece and are the exact same style as stock just chrome and 20 inches. But they are made for the V. Also if you can find tires for 100 bucks a piece then you can stay under your 2000 mark.

here is what they look like as well

if he wants 20's the cv7's look very nice IMO and he can keep the 18's for track and performance

Did he buy an '06 CTS or an '06 CTS-V?
I read your post a few times and it says CTS, which are 5-lug and less expensive for rims and tires.
If you friend bought a CTS-V, Brentman is all over it and gave you some good info.

oh crap I didnt even see that

yeah if its just a cts the choices are extravagent!!! 5x115 bolt battern 42 mm is the stock offset but you can go down to 38mm without rolling your fenders with a a 245 tire...... If he wants an agressive look go with a 38 mm offset 8.5 wide rim with 255's and roll his fenders....that will look great on a cts

I am looking for wheels too. I have not been able to find any non custom wheels on the net.
i.e.
i've looked on tirerack, nextwheel, 1010 and i have found nothing except huge chrome 22s

does any one have any leads on non custom lightweight 19'' with a 6/155 pattern? I

CCW, true forge, and Cadillac all make nice wheels for the V.
