Same goes to you Dale! Your the one flapping your gums all of the time and saying nothing. You are a true saleman!

If you read what was said, you will notice that FTR motors were called half assed. I didn't insult your motor I just said that I'll put it up against yours anytime and I will.
Stop your excuses about my extras as well, you tried to sneak your secret weapon "AllPro" heads on without being noticed so you have your extras as well. I'll stay with my little 402 just the way it is thanks.

Why do you think I'm making matters worst? Then why does not the stupid comments made from your "camp" not make matters worst as well? If you may have noticed I have not said anything about this **** lately but when unreasonable comments are made about my motor I chime in, but then there is no reasoning with the unreasonable.

Dale do me a favor and don't offer your advise to me anymore, I'm a bit tired of listening to you and your words of wisdom.

Thanks.

That is twisted Dale, what makes you think you are so superior ?

Whos level do you mean? You'd better re-check some of the past posts again.

If they aren't, why should us little guys get involved who have nothing to do with it plus put all of us in really **** work conditions. Even customers should stay out, all it does is lose friendships. All these years finally brought out the worst in me a little while ago. It also makes me think why they aren't getting involved

I made the comment equally to both sides Don.

I also stated, which you did not quote, that I thought what was done with your timing set up was not a bad idea, just different. In saying that I thought I was saying it was not half azzed. Also that my motor was not at all superior to yours only equal. Like I said no magic, both built by knowledgeable people. Wade assembled yours, Dave did mine.

I also never stated that I was superior, far from it Don. I would and have always consider you an equal and nothing less. I was referring to a young hard working K2jer not my self. Stuff like this can drag a young talent in the wrong direction. I'm just saying that he should focus on the work he is doing and ignore this stuff from both sides, if that is possible.

As for being in sales, yes I am and damn proud of it. Education and the majority of my 20 years experience is in mechanical engineer though. I just happened to like getting payed for measured performance. You do not get bonuses for more designs in a month.

Again, my comments are aimed at both sides, I believe it reads that way too. Go back and look I have pointed that out before.

Words of wisdom, I do not know about that, but I was hoping for words of civility.

I phrased that wrong. I meant to say, "nothing like the sound of an LS2 402". The only ones I've heard were built by FTR. Roy's, Don's and now Eugenio's.

Thats right my LS2 motor has a LS1 timing cover. I'll sell my LS2 cover to you if you want it, it came with my parts kit for the LS2 block but we used something better.

It also has a double timing chain and the cam can be degreed. I don't want a single timing chain on my stroker motor.

Thanks to FTR for the initiaive to custom manufacturing this for me.

Yup... FTR LS2 double timing chain!

Actually that is an awesome timing cover. It almost looks invisible!

BTW, I'm glad to hear that Eugenio's motor is in his car and running. Has it been tuned yet?

if you don't know what I mean go see the pics of a real ls2 in Rampants car.

What would you rather have on a ~500RWHP motor?!?!

A) a single stock timing chain with an LS2 timing cover
B) a heavy duty double timing chain and an LS1 timing cover

Here's what a half assed FTR LS2 looks and sounds like...

The numbers are in, through the exhaust and nine inch. it made 501/468 after 5 pulls, the last 3 pulls we're left alone (same tune) but picked up 3-4 hp each time, so as it loosens up it most likely will make more power, I'd guess at 10hp...

as stipulated above, 501/468 and picking up.
That is through a 9" and a steel driveshaft.
The car puls strong like a ****... doesn't seem like a 4k+ lbs cars anymore.
Was driving it with cutout closed all the time.
Last night decided to open it... damm, quite a difference, no kidding.
I love my beaSSt
revs so easy in every gear, that the rev limiter gets easily hit, even if the shiftlight is 200 rpm before the limiter... gotta be concentrated for upshifting...
I'm heading out for driving
Thanks for FTR and its team, for their hard working and non-stop dedication to customer service.
recommend them 100% to anyone.
still can't believe my car is ready... and so does my wife.
It's as if we're in denial of the good news...

I was hoping for anything over 480+ rwhp but would be nice to hit the magical 500... can someone say I'm Friggin happy !!!!
I was talking about it yesterday, even if the car would have hit 499, I would be so extrememly happy and it would make any diff from what it is now, except in the head... the 500 is a nice # to hit (psychologically)
see you all @ the track next week.
gonna change oil and driv my baby
