Default 9.4 @ 140...carb/dist/pump gas/all motor

Greg shot this last weekend @ KCIR...many thanks bro.

The car really picked up after switching to the pro-systems SV-1 over my old Barry Grant 1030. Previous best was 9.52 @ 139 in -400 DA.

Only change was the carb and we ran last weekend in +800 air. Still running a Pat G spec'd hydraulic cam, all motor and only 92 octane pumpgas.

1.280 60' footbraking
6.002 1/8 @ 113
9.480 1/4 @ 140

+1 on what speedtigger and 67 ls1 asked.

Nice run though. That 60 is very impressive off the foot break. Mph in the quarter is very impressive aswell.

very cool, nice pass! i want mine to wheels up like that badly...not quite enough umph yet though. i love the wheels, probably my favorite available right now. how tough is it to get that SV1 to idle? do you street drive the car any? how's drivability? they advertise the SV1 to be able to go on street and race cars.

Its a 454 LSX, cnc'd L92's, 11.7 comp, vic jr, 1220 SV-1.(This carb is badass...excellent street manners and picked up .1 tenth and over 1 mph over a very well tuned Barry Grant)

Th-400, TCI 5500 stall

S60 rear with 4.10's turning Hoosier 295 dr's.

Raceweight is 3324

...And hell yeah it gets driven on the street. I don't even own a trailer. Took it on dragweek this year and put 1200 miles on it in 5 days.

Very sweet set-up and congrats on getting down the track with the fast times! Was your old BG carb a 4150 or 4500 flange? Intake ported or un-ported?

You drove 1200 miles with a 5500 stall? I have a 3400 stall and it sucks at freeway speeds. Just wastes gas.

Intake is untouched and the BG was a 4150. The 110 mm Sv-1 has both sizes on the body. You just have to run their "mach 1" spacer to clearance the intake and the blade.

....Guess you won't be going on dragweek next year? It really isn't bad. 65 mph is 3200 rpm, and it averaged over 10 mpg for the 5 day trip including all my passes.

That is funny and freakin awesome at the same time. I used to have a '72 C10 for a daily driver that was a 350sbc with a 3500 stall converter and 3.08 gears, 28" tire. It only got 12-14mpg at 3850lbs weight.
