Default what to do now? had a problem..

Well I not sure what to do now. I blew a head gasket and water in the oil...not sure if i should have the heads checked and flush the engine and see how long I get lucky for or do a real motor now, go through this one and freshen it up then sell it.

Where's a good place to get some decent prices on short blocks bigger cubes then this little stock LS1 i've been playing with?

You can buy a kit or buy a short block, i know there was a deal on the 6.0 block with the 427 stroker kit:

Oh yea, as for the current engine, i would have the heads checked and swap gaskets, put it back together, flush the engine, change the oil and get back to beating the **** out of it.

Do what you gotta do man. Was the head gasket original? I assume not, what head bolts?

you will probably have to do a cleanup cut to the heads to get them flat at a minimum.

theres many options out there. depend on ur budget. look into a 6.0 iron block based build or if u have the $. a aluminum 6.2 based engine. a 415-417ci motor with a 4in stroke crank. if u want to keep an aluminum engine in ur ride

It was a GM MLS gasket, I have ARP Head studs so i'm not sure how it happend. Ya i'm going to have the heads checked and resurfaced. I've been thinking of the cast 6.0 but I really like the less weight of the aluminum.

The budget is good for another engine build, I had money put away to have it caged and painted guess that will just have to wait.
