There have been a couple. Not many though.

I don't think anyone makes a manifold for it so you will be using an adapter.

I'm in the process of getting a q-jet for the current / temporary 305 in the wifes 88 monte carlo. I was thinking about throwing it on the 5.3l once it's in the car just to screw with people. And the mpg's of course. I'm actually looking into having one as a turbo'd blow thru set up. I know someone offered a turbo b/t set up for pontiacs in the late 70's to be used with a q-jet. I figured that combo would really trip guys out. I'm in Hawaii and the average muscle cars I see have a raked stance, slapper bars, tires that stick out pass the lip, tunnel rams and 4 speeds. I'm not saying thats bad But I'm about 20 yrs younger than these guys and come from atlanta so I have a completly different taste and style. Still haven't figured out how you can run two 660cfm carbs on a small block and it can be running at it's best. I was always told you can make one work better than 2..

Q-jets are actually great carbs for street applications. You would have to run an adapter.
