Could this mean a Victor Jr. VS. Performer RPM track test?

What specifically are you asking?

I thought you were in the process of getting track times to see if the Victor Jr. would be quicker?? Although, maybe I just haven't read as closely as I should and missed it.

In my opinion, a safe generalization is that cars with torque converters smaller than 3000 would do better with the Performer RPM. I would also make the generalization that camshafts with 225 @ .050" duration and smaller can consider the Performer RPM a solid choice while cars with bigger camshafts are Victor Jr. Territory. Cars with lower numerical gears or heavy weight also may consider the Performer RPMs torque advantages.
My car is actually quicker in the 1/8 mile by 1 hundredth with the Performer RPM, but I will be going with the Victor Jr. because I can't dead hook on the street, so the Performers advantage is lost in my case.
Performer RPM
60' 1.62
1/8 7.41 @ 92.7
1/4 11.68 @ 114.8
Victor Jr.
60' 1.69
1/8 7.42 @ 94.2
1/4 11.62 @ 116.8

There are guys in the 7's on 275 MT DR's.....it's not the tires.
As for SpeedTiggers goal of 11.5's... he will get there with a little more time...I'm sure of it.
As for not wanting to "cut up" his car.... I can't blame him at all...it looks great as is.
