Tennerv8,
Exotically built? I am not sure how to define that.
I built this engine in my garage here at home using a sleeved LS2 block, crank I bought in the Callies clearance off Ebay and the entire top end(Heads/rockers/cast intake) bought used.
Not fuel injected, and runs a distributor.
I would think a stock LS1 has more "exotic" stuff, with crank triggered coil on plug ignition, electronic sequential port fuel injection, composite intake manifold.....
:-)
Thanks,
Dave

Lets not get carried away....

I have always liked your setup/the car etc...

But lets be real, where you went different is the big bore/short stroke. And a great setup with it, whether or not they are used heads or not, they most certainly are not patriot stage 1's or the like by any means. So dont take this as anything but a compliment.

If they ever have a Vote for your Favorite setup/car on Ls1Tech your Fox Body has got my vote for sure!! I'm also pretty impressed with the 6.0L Vette. Could you give a quick run down on its setup?? Trans, Rear gear, Cam, fuel setup etc....
