Default Any of you run a carb spacer?

I use to run one back in the day, called a nitrous plate lol. Didn't know if there was an advantage to using a regular spacer. I'm using a L92 victor jr and 950 carb.

TIA

Use a 2 inch in my 89 RS, picked up a tenth or two but It was a 4 hole I ported to simulate a super sucker.

An HVH Supersucker was worth a solid tenth and 1 MPH on my combo. I also have an L92 Vic Jr and 950HP.

I run a 1" spacer on mine. I would run it and my nitrous plate but don't have the clearance. My nitrous plate is an inch also

I had a 1" hvh on a gmpp manifold. It worked well (1-2mph). I switched to a super victor and no spacer due to clearance. The car remained the same et and mph wise.

Hey guys, when you say "Super Sucker" Is there a specific brand, looks like summit sells a few, like quick fuel, etc.

TIA

I tried them all on both dual plane and a single plane intakes. None improved my performance any. I currently have a 1/2" open spacer on my Victor Jr., but it is only for an insulator. I was having problems with fuel percolation in the Florida heat and that cured it.

my 6.0/L92 / VicJr/850 MightyDemon combo liked a 1" open spacer for best power on the engine dyno. I tryed 1" 4 hole. 1.5" tapered, 2" open. the 1" open was best.
