Default my new build,,,oh no another mustang

Ihave a 89 coupe mustang im building,,, just got it running sunday. The motor is a 04 6.0 motor out of a yukon with 110,000 miles on it, will be carb.. it has a glide with 4.88 gears. It has a Pa racing moly front end with coilovers,, it should weight around 2350 if the motor weigh's the same as my sbc that was in it... hopeing to take to try out thur night,,, right now gota get brakes working right.. heres a pic motor

been lookin at timing plan for the msd box,,,, whats the best timing for a bone stock motor i may have put to much timing in it.... ive done been looking alot,, still not for use what to use

well no big plans,,, its justa bracket car i race every week,,, prob winter time, might change heads and cam for next year...and put it on e85

20 initial, ramp to 32 all in by 3000. That will be a safe base line.

well the car ran great,,, best pass was a 1.48 60ft and ran a 7.009 at 96 mph thats turning it to 6000rpm shifting,,,, also im only leaving at 1800 rpm's because my brakes wont hold good,,,,, this is with a 750 vac carb with only 66 jets in the front,,, ill put my 800dp hp carb on for next week,,,,

And this has no cam i assume? That is fantastic man, small converter i assume?

i have a big converter,, just them dang manual mustang brakes,,, wont hold,, the converter before went 2700 with power brakes and will go 4600 on trans brake. this is a bone stock 110,000 mile motor,,,never had valve covers off..

Damn, i cannot wait to get one of the boxes and drop a cammed 6.0 in, that car runs better than the 7.1 my car ran on average, it is 3450 with me in it though. And it was a 6 speed.

i have a 4.8 motor setting in my 72 chevy truck right now need to finish it up too,,,

anyone know if they weigh the same as a iron headed sbc? i going to lower the timing some and see what it runs.... then puttin the 800 dp carb on,,, any good idea's,, i dont care to try anything,,,, we will see


oh im a turbo buick guy i dont care to test anything,,, im not scared like most guys..... mm whimps...

im a type of person to get everything out of a motor with less,,,,,, like to see 6.5's with a stock motor,,,,any good idea's

i have my 800 dp ready for thur night,,,, im going to make couple passes witht he 750 vac then put the 800 on,,,,, and pull the timing up,,, been lookin all day for new tables
