The engine is in! Many more small things to engineer and complete. Plus still have to finish wiring the entire car. The only two wires left in the car from the factory are the dome light wires, lol. Thank you LS1tech for all the help and a place to look for it. Special thanks to: DMMIZLE, GC99TA, SPEEDTIGGER, PROJECT66IMPALA, ZONE89RS, NEMESS, BILLYFLANTOS and many others. Thanks again friends. Enjoy. Eric L

The valve covers are procomp. They are on sale right now CHEAP on ebay, ill find a link. I checked the billlet rail with a straight edge and its perfectly straight. The rubber O ring seal for the valve covers is a little tricky to get into place and seems a little long, but with patients it went on good. The biggest problem I see with the valve covers are the fact that there is nothing stoping you from overtorquing them like there is on the stock valve covers, and they are not self centering on the head rail. So you have to get down there and make sure the O ring is centered on the head rail. Easy for me to do, but not so much for the F body guys. Eric L

Heres the link to the valve covers. Fastforwardrace IS procomps ebay name/sister company FWIW.
Heres the deal. I am VERY impressed with thier customer service. They sent me the wrong valve covers at first. They had coil mounts on there, and I wanted smooth ones. I called and talked to them and they 2 Day Aired me the right ones, it couldnt have been cheap. My only complaint is that the bolts supplied with the correct valve covers were wrong, so i kept the longer bolts from the covers with the mounts on them and with some washers they worked fine. All in all, for the price, compared to the original ones I had, I dont care if I have to RTV the livin SNOT out of them and they were HOT PINK...............its a deffinate improvement, lol. But from what I can see so far, if they are not overtorqued, and the o ring is installed properly, I dont see them leaking. I hope this helps someone out. Eric L
