Default My 5.3 retro fit

Putting in a LM4 aluminum 5.3 factory flat tops, stock crank,stock rods with arp bolts, 243 cnc heads cut down .035, edelbrock intake, 226 236 .586 .586 110 cam. 750 double pumper in my pontoon. What should this motor make for power?

what the hell.....not real sure about power i'd say 385ish.....ya might want install hand rails for sure.

Should be close to 385-400hp/tq with good tuning

In southern wisconsin I was hoping to see 400hp but this will be a good test dummy I also have a ls3 with ported heads I can always try later.

Handrails! Hell I think you might want a canopy, cockpit and co-pilot with 400HP in a small pontoon like that! Are you running a TH350 tranny behind that motor? Will you be manually shifting it? Is that a custom mount and bracing for the prop and rudder? And BTW, nice location for the engine oil, trans fluid or fuel cooler hanging off the back! Cool project, I'm subscribe just for ***** and giggles! Oh, and if you ever make it up to Lake Winnebago I gotta go for a ride in this monster flat topper! Best of luck!

Yes turbo 350 with trim probably end up with surface drive prop but have to start somewhere. There will be railings when finished its just stripped down now for the build. Can hardly wait to try it out getting close to getting the engine together then drop in and finish all the lose ends.

are those the E-bay cheapy valve cover...? if so how ya like them,? look pretty good from the pics.

Yep the cheap ebay covers been using them on a lot of projects they been working ok so far.
