My 89 gmc s15 with a 6010 has enough wire to reach from the engine all the way to the seat. I mounted it on the firewall inside by the passenger. I routed the wire thru the heater box hole since my heater is removed. I'm working still on filling all the holes on the firewall now. But the poor girl is buried in a snow bank

My wiring harness passes through the firewall directlly behind the intake, dead center, makes a turn and runs to the glove box. As stated above, I have had mine sitting on my lap before. There is quite a bit of harness if you route it correctlly. Just make sure you make the tuning port acessable where ever you mount it. That plug is pretty big. Eric L

My C10 i mounted it in the glovebox and snaked the harness thru an existing hole in the firewall. My caprice i made a aluminum plate and put it on the passenger's side inner fender and wrapped the harness behind the motor.

The "extension harness" is actually a shorter version of the standard harness designed to mount the box on the intake. It might come with the Edlebrock kit that packages the intake and box.
I just mounted mine on the passenger side fender in front of the motor. I might someday move it under the dash, but if I do that I will add a bulkhead connector make it easy to work on.
