Bad gas or ???
I think my gas may be bad or ???
How to tell ? Never had this issue before and this is a fresh build. I read about the MSD box "wiring issue" but pretty sure thats not it.
I feel dumb right now unsure how old it is (91 octane pump swill)
Trying to start it and I get a thump (not a pop like back fire) from the exhaust. Really hope it's not something like a bad sensor or cam out of time

from my experience, bad gas will have more of a yellow tint to it and stronger smell. if it was in a sealed gas tank, that was full you should be fine. even on bad gas it should still spit n sputter and cough at ya.

dont know how to test individual sensors, i would try and arc plug to the head to see if your getting spark, there are a couple threads of guys not getting spark with 6010's because theyr not spinning engine fast enough. box wants to see 250 rpm or something like that?

If you hook a lap top to the controller while cranking and get an RPM signal than your "sensors" are good. Only thing beyond that is to check for spark at the plugs.
Spray some starting fluid down the carb when cranking. That will tell you if it is spark or gas that you lack.

OK....will hook up the laptop and check...I also found I enabled the timing control where it should be disabled for a carb set-up No idea if it was an issue, but one more thing to fix.
Battery fully charged....and will have to wait until I get home from work, not going to try this at 5:40am LOL

Gave it a shot of fresh gas and turned her over a few times...ran for maybe 2-3 seconds....So I guess I'll be draining the fuel cell this weekend
But an electric fuel pump should make it pretty easy
