Out of curiosity is there enough room to run the factory truck accessories and brackets? minus the A/C compressor of course. Looks to be a lot of room in front of the motor, only concern I see is the height of that alternator sticking up if using the stock truck style

Yeah I saw that but your using the fbody alternator bracket because you dont have a P/s pump correct? im interested in seeing if you could use the entire truck set-up, minus the a/c compressor and using elec fans rather than the plastic fan of the truck. Basically like the picture below where the alt sits up high on the driver side head and the P/S pump sits down below it.

took some research and a little luck but found a user who did it with the factory truck alternator . looks like he might also have been using the truck bracket for the p/s pump and everything looks fine clearance wise? Was going to send a PM but the member hasnt signed on in about 4 months. Just thought id share. I know the truck accessories are more common and dirt cheap if someone didnt mind the look of them.

My 3rd set of pistons are set to been here either Yesterday at the shop or monday don't haven't been up there. If so the short block is going together as soon as the CP pistons make there way to the callies rods respinning the crank for balancing then going together.

Bringing the car up to South Carolina sick of not being able to work on it on a weekend basis as well as the heads and motor will be set in next weekend to tow it up......
Got Headers, Alternator Bracket, Balancer , EWP, tranny stall converter
Whats left is to
Redo brake lines, Mount fuel cell and run lines and run tranny cooler lines then misc. Wiring up of things and then it should be ready for first start

Well got to love last minute change of plans......Working the next two weekends so can't go get the car......So the motor and car will be sitting in FL for 2 weeks
Thinking about stock piling ALLL my parts and pretty much throwing it together the weekend I'm there and have it ready to go as far as possible then it be done from there.......This whole car thing is becoming a huge headache but hopefully will be worth it in the end
