For you guys running super Victors has anyone ran them as cast then ported and have any type of results........There seems to be A LOT meat in these things for that very reason I know I seen this on the Vic Jr Vs Super for guys who are deciding which one they want to go with here is some info...........I also plan on putting the biggest spacer my 6 inch Harwood allows ![Mullet](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/mullet.gif)

I doubt you will be able to run a spacer at all, if you doing this on an f body, part of the carb its self sits under the windshield. I had to do quit a bit of cutting just to get it to fit on the vic jr.

Oh i see your probably putting it on the stang. I have seen a few guys port off the bungs where the castings are made for injectors. Most dont really mess with porting. But I'm sure you could and see some decent gains.

Lots of guys port their Super Vic's on Yellowbullet but they are running big cubes. For something like a LS1 (i don't know what motor your running) I would just do a nice port match extending it 2 inches into the runner rather than a full on race port. If you don't have the head, cam, cubes to utilize the runner cross section you would likely loose some runner velocity. Having said that, you know your combo more than anyone so use that knowledge to dictate how crazy you get on the porting.
I bought this issue for this article, its walks you through a DIY port match:

Yeah and my cam and such is meant to take advantage of the Single plane and Carb so we will see like I said for as cheap as I can get a Jr it might be cool to see how they react one vs another and give some guys who have a Jr now some real world results on what they would get going to a Super in theory

I like it lol how much did you pay for yours if you dont mind me asking. I am just stoked that my employer is finally making these available through our order system so I can get my discount on it saves me 70 or so from the cheapest retail i have found. I wonder if the black paint will help the intake stay cooler than if you had painted it another color. I have seen test done on blocks with the same principle and the black was cooler than say Chevrolet Orange if i remember correctly im gonna have to find that article again

I didn't even have that in mind when I painted it going in a red car and everyone likes Black on red including me......Picked it up used for 300 shipped was drilled for a direct port system then epoxied up....Was kind of scared when I purchased it. Showed up to my front door and it looked AWESOME couldn't even tell the epoxy was there for the most part. Plus I plan on spraying this motor in the future and some of the leg work is already done
