I loved bracket racing my 5 speed, but had no line lock and starting was not level, so there was several times I'd roll back out of beam and Redlight. But was sure fun.

Noooooo

Have to wait until after I drive my daughter to Homecoming. She asked me to drop her off in the Camaro, so a little reluctant to tear apart and not get back together in time due to some unforeseen circumstances.

I miss my 6 speed third gen. That thing had a ton of kills on the street and the track, but the mustang would not only be a bitch to convert to manual, it would be even more money to handle the shock. I'm already seeing deflection in the upper torque boxes trying to rip apart. So the t56 s10 is keeping my satisfied. And it is a shock to random people since it looks like nothing special.

I got low 1.4 60fts in my coupe for about 4 years before finally upgrading the torque boxes. I welded them all at seams, then installed the brace kit. Lowers are just welded. I have never seen a bit of problem from these torque boxes. I did tear the lowers out on my 5 speed street car that ran 7.8s on motor and 7.4s on a little hit on 225/50 drag radials.

was getting stuff out of my boxes here at the house to prepare for the new rear case to be here and decided to pull the pinion support out of the broken case....the pinion support crumbled as i pulled it apart....

i was counting on this piece still being good. i may be stuck at the moment.....running into a crossroads of "getting another to get me back together" and "getting the one i need for the 35 spline setup now"....

You need a good pinion support anyway.

well, pieces started showing up this weekend.

i'd never seen the conversion bearings for a baby spool (28/31/33) in a big case, so i figured i'd share them too, lol.

workin hard, gotta get the pinion support and yoke ordered yet.
