11.5:1 diamonds with eagle h-beams. not brave enough to do that with a stock bottom end.
it's on a slick zane.
thanks for the kind words! yes, stock 2.66 first gear still. 4.30's in the rear and 26" tire. not sure what my next step is to work on the sixty. i know the first gear isn't helping me.

Nice pass.
Looks like it spun pretty good on launch ?
Maybe lower the launch rpm 2-300 ? I know you want some slip with a stick, but looked a little much.

right lane:
yes, the tire slip is excessive. i've been low 1.5x already with a 5900 rpm launch rpm. for some reason the 2-step function of the msd box quit working, so when i hit the button for the line-lock/2-step, the line-lock worked, but it went right to the high side limiter.

It doesn't look that bad to me, but there is a lot of spin. It's a fine line between enough traction for a good 60', and enough intensional spin to prevent bogging/dragging the motor down too far( which kills 60'). I'm sure you are figuring it out Matt. That's where the deeper first gear will help - it will allow you to lower the air pressure and setup suspension for more hit, to get better traction, while preventing the engine from being dragged down too far.
An adjustable clutch helps big time.
