PS fits no problems just use either a 300 6 cylinder F100 van pulley or fourth gen 3.8 f- body pulley. they are smaller in diameter and clear the box. The biggest question is are you going to run AC, if you are the box will most likely need to be notched as well as the lower PS of the frame. If not the radiator can be moved forward allowing room for some decent cooling fans.

get your *** to my house and tune my carb...i cant keep it idling long enough to let the thermostat open to get the cooling system going...i'll talk to you about your rear options, you can check out some **** that i did/used and did i mention my carb runs like *** and i dont know what to do? LMAO.

my crank sensor wire runs extremely close to a plug wire...i wonder if that is causing any weird issues. i also havent wired my alternator yet so the lower voltage could be causing funky things.

here is proof that it moves under its own though. i backed it into the driveway and back into the garage about 10 times just for the hell of it hahaa

We will see, thanks for the heads up. I am going to go as cheap as possible as far as headers. The BRP are double the headmans, so that's the way for me to go at this point, but that can change:

These the headers you're gonna run?

http://paceperformance.com/i-8378313...p-headers.html

I almost got them, but had some extra cash so I went longtubes. I bought the 94-03 in frame ones though, don't like the tubes outside the framerail

Not bad, may go that route for the hell of it. 489 is not bad. Just not sure about the details, as in "must loosen cab and blah blah blah to install.

Yeah Ive read that, brps are just hedmans coated from what Ive read. Instructions with some details on body lifting under the mount kit they sell

http://www.brphotrods.com/mm5/mercha...ory_Code=CNV12

I didn't have to raise the body, it was tight, but the trans/engine went right in

Those 1 3/4 ones only have 1 tube outside frame rail, 1 7/8 have two tubes outside

Id check shipping prices/availabilty on those at pace too, they may *** rape you on shipping, not sure. And they may not have them made yet. It was 30 bucks from brp so shouldn't be much more than that, and took em a month or so to build them

Damn, well, maybe it took a month to coat them? Lol

Sure appreciate the heads up snook, folks like you make projects and this little corner of the site what it is.

I'll do some calling around to them as soon as I have cash. Which should be by the end of the month at the latest.

Trying to figure out if I'm going to use a explorer 8.8 rear as is or have the long side shortened so I can use a more original wheel offset.

When your back is broke you have a lot of spare reading time

The brp website shows two tubes around the framerail if It matters, so its hard to say for sure. Just read in another s10 forum that one went around, false knowledge is dangerous, lol.

Probably be easier finding a explorer rear for super cheap with 4.10s. And 94 up is all disc brakes. The wider explorer rear may be the way to go so I can run 93-02 f body wheels on the rear without spacers.

I chatted with the small window at pace performance, said they were out of stock, but could get them in 2 weeks, then ship out for 65 bucks. They asked why my IP dint match a texas account, lol

The explorers are plentiful around here too, so that's probably your best bet. I need to find one for mine

A friend of mine did the 8.8 swap. He got two of one side on the axles and had the one side cut down. As far as I know, it all worked out great.
