Nice, you can put a lift anywhere in there.

I so need space like that. I'm looking at a couple houses today that have a decent sized lot, one has a 3 car garage on the property now that would be an extra bay more than I have, other has a 2 car but the property goes back enough for me to put up something at least 30x30, so the 2 garages would work, bad part is I will be digging into a hill (meaning a concrete wall at one end as the foundation wall would end up the back wall). But that would mean it would stay cool in the summer, just have to keep a dehumidifier going which I do anyway.

Have to see if we like the houses first.

There's **** for big open space here in CT.... Down where you are I would love to be but unfortunately the wife just isn't willing to pack up and go like that....

my lot is on a hill as well, but really isn't big enough behind the house to put a building, and a building in the front would be out of place in my neighborhood. my wife started looking at larger properties the other day. when she starts looking on her own is when i know she is on board with making a move. that means it's time to get through with these side projects and get on the house. i want to make a profit on this house. the last one i made $12, i'd like to at least double that

Making $$$ is great, making enough to equal out living there for free is good too....losing $$$$ NEVER good.

Good luck Matt

Scored some weld draglites yesterday, 11 lbs compared to my chrome cragars at nearly 30 lbs.

We aren't getting any younger, so hope you can make it happen sooner than later so you can enjoy it longer. I wish I had this going on at 25, lol.

The down side here is the humidity but when in a shop with fans running and doors open, I don't think it is bad. Maybe you will find that perfect place you can build on. I have 2 properties in this neighborhood and couldn't be much happier. The one I live in with the shop is a double lot and all of these lots are usually .69 acres or something like that.

i'll say it again, the american racing wheel is my choice. it's a nicer, more timeless wheel in my opinion.

I'm still building and that means I'm still dropping money in. So far I'm at about 23k and that's not including doors yet. And that was buying the building before steel went up like 15%.

Z channel is welded in. Cut the front and rear door frames out, hope to install tomorrow and maybe some sheet metal.
