Wouldn't that make you a "happy clamper"?

The 02 SS and 98 TA are cruisers/daily commuters. The 86 TA will be down for full restoration for a long while. So the 94 is replacing it while it gets the treatment. Then the 89 coupe is my competition car/street toy.

Use any of that as excuses to have the cars I want. lol

Well, got a customers Vette still on my lift with fuel pump problems. So, got to the thing I didn't want to do. Sanded and painted (the dreaded rattle can) the nose and hood of the 94. Looks good from 10 foot back. Didn't get all the cracks out all the way but I just needed it acceptable driving down the road. I'll have them painted when I have cash for cosmetics. But for now, it will do.

Update. Got a lot done and a lot to do. The electrical is not finished but it is getting there. Stock output for the ECM is shitty. But it runs. It is a ASA cam in the 5.3. Not very big but it sounds ok. Was nice to move it under its own power. Need to put the fender and nose all the way on, and head lights. Won't be too much longer and I'll be getting an alignment and better exhaust.

She runs and drives. Had to do more wiring than I wanted to but it is worth it. Tha toe on the front end was in, so made that adjustment. 12v signal to the trans controller was ****. Fixed that and found 3 more forward gears. Has a dead spot in the throttle so I need to figure out if it is fuel pressure being a bit high or if the carb sitting too long needs rebuild. Looks better in ones piece. Wife enjoyed taking a trip around the block and we are putting insurance on the car right now.

Yes, it is an 80. 2002 model trans. Needs a shift kit before I can spray it. That is a TCI outlaws piece. I absolutely love it. Did have to do some chopping and welding to make the cable mount on the side of the trans work. Could use a touch of adjustment to get down to first a little easier.

80e ? Guessing an 4l80 ?
How do they handle power....hear/read conflicting results.

Also in the market for a trans since mine is slipping going into drive (th350) under full power.
Looking at a full manual th350 or a full manual 700R right now.

BUT....if an 80 or 85 will work/fit/some to no mods....may look at also.

Guy claims it will take it...all the upgrades.

I told him 550-600hp NA but may see up to a 200 shot, and he said notta problem.

This th350 been in my car since I bought it in 98-99 where I did a shift kit. Been through a few converter upgrades (4) and has somewhere between 100-200 passes. I can not complain.

Only recently did it start slipping going into drive at WOT
