Wow man your shop looks way bigger than mine and its the same size. Now I really wish I would have gone steel all the way. We actually got a 4 post givin to us. And man it was like if it's free it's for me. But after getting it back to the shop I was amazed on how much room it took up over the 2 post. I ended up giving it to a good friend. Definitely getting another 2 post. And your right. We need to add on badly too. Don't seem to ever have enough room. Lol

was commissioned was do a steering shaft for an 80's gm truck to eliminate the rag joint. found a shaft that works perfect that isn't the ugly jeep shaft and viola, here it is. as you can see the truck shafts are on the left and they're a good bit longer than the f-body shafts i typically do which are on the right.
and installed
then monday a friend and fellow mullet militia member brought his 87 gta over for some sfc's
the red car i work on a lot is coming back over tomorrow. it's gonna get a 10 point cage and a rewire, among a few over things. always busy! lol

When our tech brought it in to the shop, all the panels and doors needed adjusted and it looked ragged out. She put it on our digital frame machine, and even though it had never been wrecked, it was pretty far out of spec..
She pulled it back into perfect specs and then welded the frame connectors in while it was on the machine. When she put it back on the ground, all the panels lined up and it looked amazing.

One of my friends did a build on a 3rd gen back in 2000. The car was a high mile survivor, but it was pretty nice.

Supposed to be 70 here today, I really hope to "test" the new trans some on a back road or three
Just my few drives around the block don't tell me what I'm looking for...

Well....feels damn good....until you throw a belt at 7000+ and you over heat puking anti-freeze everywhere.
Anywho, gotta fix the tossing of my belt.
500rpm drops on the shift best I could tell by eye....data logger is only hooked up to AFR gauge for now.

Hey Steve, up and running. Same motor that was FI and it's amazing how much smoother it is now with a carb. Powerglide also is in. Just small things now but it is running

Tensioner is new and manual ICT part.
I think I found an issue... alt was aligned with crank, tensioner aligned with crank...but tensioner wasn't inline with the alt. Got it inline within .100 I guess....needs another "test"
