OK, that's not too bad then. I really need to weigh my car again. Last time I weighed it, it was 3250 without me and about 1/4 tank of fuel. But that was before adding the nitrous kit, the 9-inch, radials tires, heavier AGM battery, console.....and who knows what else I'm not considering. So I'd say it's AT LEAST 3300 without my fat ***. And I'm a good 265 all dressed out so I'm 3565 minimum going down the track. I need to do the thin-driver mod!

Don't tell Gary, but I have a crush on his Camaro. I have liked the 70-72s since high school. I had a 78, but it was like dating the pretty girls sister.

ah the joys........should be 2900 or a little less with driver. I'm trying to find stuff to pull off that will offset this iron block I have now. I hole sawed the radiator support below rad. Went thru both layers. I was gonna build a tubular one, but I eventually want to tube the whole front, strut towers forward, So I thought I would try cheap first. I also bought a new aluminum radiator to replace the factory 92 mustang 4 cylinder radiator. I saved 8 lbs on rad with them empty. Looks like it may be about 12-13 lbs saved when full since it holds less water. I still have factory console and all, hate to get rid of that stuff, cause I like the stock ish look inside minus race seats. I'm gonna hole saw some more things and try to be down about 30lbs next time out at least.

If the rain could stop what it's doing a F off down here in Texas, that would be great.

Man, I'm blessed that we have not got hit like April last year and got water in the house again. But it is hard to see so many friends get so jacked up and lose so much.

After rain, flooding and all this nasty disaster down here, my home trackmopened up last night. Plenty beat me to the tech lane which is rare, but told me the itch to race was clearly not a sole feeling.

She did great. Leaving decent, but always wanting to be faster.

Some interesting info on the coupe. It's best 60 was a 1.49 all motor and 1.48 on the gas. The tires are just not holding. Going to try a 275/60 DOT pro MT if I can find some.

Mine was doing the same thing last year. N20 60' times were the same or within a few 100th's of NA 60' times. My issue (not apparent at the time) was the cheap CE three way rear shocks were no longer capable of keeping the tires planted. I upgraded to Strange double adjustables and now have a new best of 1.33 on nitrous. I had a 1.37 this weekend at LS Fest which also rewarded me with my first 9 second pass. Last year my 60's were in the mid 1.4's. Just a thought.

Lol, you now have faux body moldings. Good idea.
